As I can see through my whole phone files , exact no folder named private ..and the hidden maps should be seen ..turned that on ...
I want to delete some themes as well that dont show up in the filemanager tool thingie .....

it is best to use a card reader, as when the card is in the phone, the private (and some other) folders remain hidden.

i think you can also connect the phone in mass storage mode to access the private folder (it works for me at work, but nokia pc suite isnt installed on that pc)

I have included this in many threads but still users cannot be bothered to search so here it is in it's own thread!!!

Here is how to delete themes that aren't in the app manager

*******This only works for themes on memory/sd cards********

You need to hook up your N73/N93/N95 or what ever you have to your PC via the USB and access the data transfer/mass storage mode, and you need to make sure your file explorer can view hidden folders.
You'll find the theme filesin a folder named 'Private',in this folder are lots of other folders.Go to the folder named '10207114' and then eneter the folder inside called 'Import'
In here are all the themes on your sd card.
You have to open every folder and then look in the skn folder to find the name of the theme as the folders are named by numbers and not the theme itself,if the PC doesn't allow you to open the file then choose to open it with Notepad, then scroll across until you see the name of the theme and usually it'll say the creators name too.
Once you know it's the theme you want to delete then you have to delete the whole folder including including the mbm, mif, ini and skn folders.
Job done

MODS
can this be made sticky please?

are you sure that you have the themes installed to your memory card?

i have never installed themes to my n95 memory card, and i do not have that folder.

however, i just looked at an old N73 sd card backup that i have on my pc, and i have that folder, exactly as described by Mr G.

Welcome to the site too
