HTC Hero Theme For Nokia

HTC Hero Theme For Nokia

Here it is, an HTC Hero theme for your Nokia device – or any device running Symbian S60. I have always loved original work and default design, so I thought it was about time to pay homage to the Sense UI loaded Hero designed by HTC. At this moment, the theme is only available with the Ovi icon set.

Credit goes to HTC for the beautiful wallpaper design, as well as Radier for the digital clock.

    • This theme is great and made my Nokia E71 really happy. But I moved on and switched to the E72 a few days back. First theme I tried on my new workhorse is this one. It has only one issue, it does not handle very well the email app. Colors for background and fonts are not optimized for FP2's integrated email app.

      Here's what I'm talking about: http://www.mobypicture.com/user/CGiboi/view/576...

Also, another nice thing would be releasing this theme with no icons, just for FP2.

      Thanks.
    • I use this theme from when you released it. But the font's colours is a big bug (i use on E75).
      Can you fix it?

      Thanks!

Would this Theme be worth Downloading and using if i have the E72 already?

You can always try it :).
    • Very nice theme. The only issue is that I use E70 and the top bar does not have correct background in portrait mode, everything is ok in landscape though. Could you please fix this or share uncompiled theme with me (kurohtinv@gmail.com), so I could to it?

      Nice.
But where is the top bar?

BTW. it would be nicer if popup menus had round edges like the popup dialer. This way they look a little out of place.
I don` know why but there is a very small number of themes with this kind of popup menus.

Most importantly I am glad to see you making themes again, Jon.

      Hey Strafe,
Its nice to hear from you :).

Top bar? I never make themes with top bars.. or at least, I try not to. Nokia's screens are small enough as it is. It doesn't need to look any smaller with the use of top or bottom bars ;) (that's just my opinion of course)

You cannot make rounded pop up menus by the way. If the image area is transparent, it will render black (or white.. I cannot remember. But I did try it before, and it didn't work).

That's probably why there is only a small number of themes with them.

      I hope that helps!

Hehehe, nice to have you back indeed! I really like it, but the Ovi Icons are such a drawback... will you be releasing the T7 E series version as well?
    • Strafe
I remembered that Symbian Planet by Flahorn had rounded menu edges. Perhaps he made that because the background is black, so if it`s rendered black it doesen`t show, I don`t know.

About top/botom bars, I would agree with you if it was a different case, but S60v5 version has bottom bar and it looks gorgeous, much better than S60v3, at lest for me. To me, the menus on S60v3 are looking like they are floating in mid air. Maybe because there is a big contrast in colors between relatively light colorful background and darker menus.
