Part Four: Nokia N900 Dust Test

By Jon | Thursday, December 3rd, 2009 | Comments

This is the fourth test for our Nokia N900 Stress Test video series. This test is to simulation the dust build up on your Nokia N900 over several years. This test is also to determine whether or not dust can gather underneath your screen.

Surprisingly, there was not a speck of dust underneath the screen. Nokia did an amazing job at making the phone tight, solid, and secure.

If, for any reason, dust does get trapped underneath your N900’s screen, please check out our Nokia N900 disassembly video. Keep in mind that disassembling your phone by yourself with void the warranty.

This will be the last Nokia N900 video we will be making for a while, as I will be returning back to Canada tomorrow morning. A huge thanks to everyone who has linked to, watched, subscribed, tweeted, enjoyed, and supported our work!

How does the phone speaker perform after the dust test? My old 6110 navigator became very faint after a year because of dust build up on the speaker (not the external speaker, the one you use on phonecalls). I dissasembled it and cleaned it, worked find after. Just wanna know if this might be a problem for my n900 after some time.
