Nokia over air software updater – success

Last year Nokia finally released over the air Nokia firmware updates.

This was great news for us Nokia fans, it means we no longer had to send our phone away to the service centers for simple bug fixes, this process could sometimes take weeks.

The Nokia software updater supports many of the popular series 60 handsets such as Nokia n80, Nokia n73 and the Nokia E61.

After Nokia’s successful trial run last year they have now released the software updater in over 40 languages.

So far 750,000 people have updated their own mobile device. In time this number will sky rocket due to the new support for over 40 languages.

The latest Nokia n80 update introduced support for users to be able to make internet calls on their mobile, great step foward.
