Google has recently released the AT&T 3G friendly (Rogers Wireless friendly for Canadians) variant of the Nexus One. This is the one many users have been waiting for, as it supports North American 850 / 1900 / 2100 mHz 3G bands. Like the previous T-Mobile friendly version, this can be picked up from the Google Store for $529.00 unlocked without a contract – shipping is free within the United States. Apparently, the Google Nexus One will also be coming to the Sprint CDMA network. However, there hasn’t been anything else announced besides the fact that it must be purchased online through the Google Store.
In other news, Windows Phone 7 apparently won’t have native copy and paste abilities. It looks like Microsoft has taken too much “inspiration” from the iPhone on this one. All this and more in this exciting episode of Phoneage! All of the original news article links and videos can be found in the YouTube video description.
See you guys on Tuesday!
P.S. Congrats to YouTuber Hooker1UK for winning the Maemo prize Giveaway! A huge thanks to everyone for participating :)
