An open thread allowing all members to request and share various items needed for making themes, whether it be clocks, battery, signal, caller displays, navigation panels, icons etc
Even personal requests can be made to have items made for them !

first i want to thank you for starting this thread and now comes my request for all the themers here
i got inspired from the analog clock you have just posted
how about an mmc forums theme?
the only problem is that it must be in different versions for all users and multiscreen (e.g. :s60v2,s60v3,SE and if possible s40),but of course can be different themes for different devices
i know this requiers a lot of work and i always appreciate it but at least if one version would be posted making/converting would be a lot easier
so this is my idea
any support?

ii Make Skins For Bebo And Would Like Some Of Them TO Made Into Themes But ii Cannot Upload Them Onto Here Because Of The File Type

so what do we say about something like a poll ?
first we invite our users to post some wallpapers,icons etc. so we have where to choose from using this poll option?
what do you say mates about it?

Here are some analogue clock hour and minute hands in "png" format and the colours can easily be changed to almost any colour to match your clock / theme !
( just right click and "save picture as" to your PC )

why not have a number of different bckgrounds, to cover different theme catorgries,
like a car with mmc graphics on the side or windscreen, a girl/guy with a mmc tattoo, maybe photo shoto a photo of stonhendge to read mmc....

or just plain colours with mmc forums ghosted into the background...

Hey also what if we have some of the "admin types" avatars as icons?????

If You can get me the images I'll create the basic template fo carbide.ui users to customise....

There already a few MMC Forums inspired themes posted.I know kata for one has uploaded a S60 V2 one some time ago. :thumbsup:
Havent checked for other OS uploads though.

Hi there!

I may be slow to understand but... where would i look to find all the resources and tools to create my own themes? Is there a 'theme builder' suite that I can find/buy or whatever to allow me to do this myself?

I'd apprecaite any help in this matter - I love my E71 but I really want a clean theme with very small fonts for maximum value to me... I don't mind doing it myself and would love to make various themes, clocks, annunicators, etc.

Thoughts?

Sorry DJ, i thought your previous post in other thread was for black shiney numbers in PNG or SVG format :confused:

I only use PNG & converting them to SVG can be done but the results are sometimes poor but that depends on what your converting.
( Import PNG file then Export as SVG )
As for any colours.... dont forget you can make many colours from just one set of numbers !!!

Yes you can use Illustrator or any SVG editors, you can then try to import a PNG file then export it as an SVG.
Doesnt always work, i think it depends on what you are trying to convert & file size etc but converting an SVG to PNG is much more easier so it will be trial & error, other than that im not too sure because i usually stay with the trusted old PNG.
