This is not quite how I wanted. It's a clock in progress.

Any tips or pointers on how I can improve this? Looks best on a dark background

First immediate selfish thought is make me a similar clock separate to that, but make the outer solid ring all one color. (I assume the centre is transparent.) Then I can do a color change in my icon editor. I can sweep across and change all one hexa color to another. I do a lot of this. It's hard to do a color change for me if many variations in color.

Apart from that, I'm not sure why you are asking - it looks very nice. "Lovely job" as my Cornish dad would say.

Just had another thought. I will have to see if there are any clock hands in the Resource forum I can snaffle.

Or even more basic?

Do you want the sheen on it?

Or what?

Oh that's very nice. Lovely job again.
Oy, I am not going to dictate to you for my own selfish needs, much as I loved to.

Instead I request that you do a range of 5 or so colors of this very nice clock face, for all to use.
Black, white, olive 7b7b00, orange ff9934 and anything else YOU like.

Don't change a thing. Now I just have to make the themes to use all the ripper stuff I've accumulated.

and maybe carry this all over now to this post

'cos I'm getting lost going backwards and forwards and I don't want to miss any.

Beautiful work. Damned if I know how you do it.
I may well use that pink one on next Hello Kitty that's coming along.

*edit* which just changed to a black and white Batz Maru theme after you posted that black square clock.

This also looks good as a "grid highlight". So there is more inspiration for you. Si.
I'd love to see a few more grid highlights along this line.
I have had a look at a few of the clock faces already posted, and they look good too.

I think the gold clock looks pretty good as it too. I'm browsing for a simple styled clock at the moment. Personally, I think they look better. I may end up borrowing it Paul for the first theme I'm playing around with. lol
