Don't know,
if other themes change it OK, maybe double check you've entered the code correctly, did you say it is named EasyVOIP and not Internet tel.? maybe try changing that.

Now I have grasped the basics of carbide I am also looking to change third party icons on my N97 themes I know you need to tether the icon svg to the app using its UID but am unsure of the best way of going about this, aswell as finding out what the UID's are is there an easy way of doing this?

There is an app called AppUidViewer you can install on your phone which will list the uid's of what is on your phone, there are also a few lists on the forums, some icons are specific to 5th ed phones.
In Carbide under preferences/3rd party icons you just add the uid, then it will appear as an 'empty icon' space under your context icons[at the end], you then just paste your icon into that space.

Just remembered Jon did this video which has a bit about 3rd party icons.

If you installed Carbide in the default destenation go to:
C:\Program Files\Nokia\Carbide.ui Theme Edition 3.4\Eclipse\plugins\com.nokia.tools.theme.s60_3.4.0.0\data\config
And back-up the icons.xml
