They are animated gif files and will not work with Carbide, you could convert the frames into separate images then insert each one into the wait bar animation in Carbide, I assume that will work,but I've only used svg files in it.

The only svg ones I've done is an older one with mmcforums on it, it is in this section and the one I use now which has tehkseven text on it. There is a svg one here by riajsss.

To convert ashleys gif's to individual frame you will need a gif animator such as from Ulead, or maybe if you google you might find free ones that do it.

If you see a couple of Ashleys you like, let me know and I'll have a go at converting them to frames, if it's OK with you Ash

u have to split the gif animation in single images. then u go to waiting bar in carbide and one by one those images....
(but i c now that Rob already said it.....)
the only problem is that u can't edit the colors in carbide (as u can do with svg files). excepr that they work perfectly....

I used Ulead gif animator (they have a 15 day trial if you want a go yourself), but if you google for free gif animators, I'm sure you will find loads.

I also had to resize them as Carbide size is 210x13, and I think carbide crops them so depending on animation you might have lost some of the image.

They've come out at 35 frames, that's a lot of copy/pasting , you may get away with just using every 2nd or 3rd frame instead, try it and see how the animation looks.

you can also use Lunapic.com for easy online frame splitting.

.. upload animation
-> go to animation tab
-> edit frame setting's
-> then more setting's
-> Full sized frames
-> right click and save
