You can use carbides import option for tpf files, but it can mess up your 3rd pary icons in the icons xml file.
Best to rename it, replace the .tpf part with .zip [or .rar], extract it and you will find the tdf file.

On your PC right click the tpf to see the properties menu, change the extension from tpf to zip and save. Now you will have a compressed zip file. Unzip this as you would any other zip or rar. Once you have done this you will have a folder in the same name as the tpf file. Open this folder and inside is the tdf file. From here you can select the tdf file from carbide and use the elements inside.
