Color Lovers Theme Design Contest

We've had some pretty dark and spooky contests in October, and the dark nights are drawing in. So lets brighten things up and create some beautiful, colourful themes. But before you start, remember to vote in the Scary Movies Theme Design Contest.

Your task is to create a theme based on a single colour. Your theme can contain as many shades of that colour as you wish. But you must only use one colour. You can also use black, grey and white.

Colour Choices
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet. As already stated, you can use as many shades of the colour as you wish, but your shades must not be another colour. For example, if you choose red, orange isn't a shade or red. Pink however is.

Resources
This website, color lovers, is a perfect tool for this contest. It will help you find lots of beautiful shades to use in your theme.

Rules
You can enter a single theme in to the contest. The theme must be created specifically for this contest. Your theme can be uploaded to other websites, but not entered in to other websites contests.

Now, simply click the enroll now button on the contest page.

Though one I think...very good and challenging subject...onnnnnly one (!!!) colour...real test for the themers..thanks Paul..this is why T7 is different..:)..

Thanks guys. Kallol, This is what I thought. A bit of a challenge and will really get people being creative and using their skills best.

I think we'll see only "true themers" entering this one. Or at least those who want to be true themers :)

One question: If I choose, for example, blue, I have to use different shades of blue, but can I use also white? In the wallpaper, for example, if I want to use a sky wallpaper (with the white clouds) can I use that? Posted Image
